Take a Sharkation

So, shark and vacation are usually not two words you use in the same sentence. But here at Let's Go There Someday! they are used, not just in the same sentence, but in the same word. That word is SHARKATION!

Was that your mind I just heard being blown? Are you going to drop everything and go on a sharkation right now? Yes. You are. Put those doubts from your mind! Chuck Norris, Will Smith, Jack Bauer, and Princess Leia applaud your decision.

But how to leave the tedious mundanity of everyday life and what exactly is a sharkation? Let me paint you a picture.

Georgia Aquarium

Your sharkation begins in Georgia. The Georgia Aquarium is one of few aquariums where adults are allowed to sleepover while sharks swim overhead-- without being accompanied by a kid. Although, kids can also spend the night, if they dare.

This is where you will stay. Because, really, how many people can say they slept with sharks? You can. After your sharkation, that is.

Orlando Florida

The real destination is Orlando. It's far away from Georgia, so consider stopping by a few other places like Tybee Island and Jacksonville Florida along the way. I would suggest visiting Jacksonville's friendship fountain. Contemplate all the beloved sharks in your life.

The reason for visiting Orlando is not to see Universal Studios or any of the other less sharky and therefore much less classy attractions. You will resist the temptation to site see and head straight to SeaWorld. Just kidding, you might as well see all the other cool sites while you're there. Still. Keep your eye on the goal. Your main mission is threefold.

1) You will swim with sharks.

2) You will feed sharks.

3) You will eat at a shark themed restaurant.

It's true. SeaWorld goes so far as to let its visitors swim with sharks, feed them, and even eat with them. Discovery Cove in SeaWorld provides snorkeling adventures where you can swim with, not only sharks, but all kinds of marine life! Ignore them, they are pathetic.  Find the sharks and follow them closely. It won't annoy them at all. They are used to paparazzi.

Be warned, it may be prudent to feed the sharks first...you know, so they won't be hungry. The sharks will be so happy that you became their friends they will want to dine with you. Eat at Shark's Underwater Grill where an aquarium full of sharks takes up an entire wall next to your table. This very well may be the highlight of your sharkation.

Tampa Florida

When you get to Tampa, you are going to make an important stop at the Florida Aquarium for Shark Week. This is where it gets real. There is a possibility there will be shark themed doughnuts. So learn about shark conservation while you eat treats shaped like sharks...why does that seem wrong?

Make sure you go during the right time of the year. Because-- shark con! That's why. Yes, shark con is a thing. It's in Tampa. It is awesome. But it needs to be more awesome. That is where you come in. Unlike comic con, it doesn't seem like most people dress in costumes. But you're not most people. Dress up as a shark, or wear a shark hat to start a new trend. How dedicated to sharks are you? As dedicated as this dog?

Sharkation Complete

Once you have traveled to all of these destinations, you can officially say you have been on a sharkation. Yay! Will you ever be doubted again? Don't count on it.

Beauty in Nigeria

In taking a tour around some states in Nigeria, I discovered this country is richly blessed. In climate, cultural heritage, agriculture and population density, they’re exceptional.

Nigeria occupies a strategic position in West Africa, with accessible routes to other regions of the world.  To date, Nigeria hasn’t uncovered all the mineral resources that have been buried there since creation.

This country is a one of a kind, vast landscape, with varieties of mineral resources, and so many endowments.

Climate

The weather conditions are so beautiful. It allows agriculture to produce and thrive irrespective of the varying weather. The rainy season starts in April and lasts till September and doesn't prevent people to freely go about their businesses. This isn’t so in most European countries. Most times they get locked up due to the wet season.

The dry season is one season that welcomes visitors with a cool breeze. This is the best period to book a trip to Nigeria.
CULTURAL HERITAGE

The Yoruba, Ibo and Hausa tribes in Nigeria have their unique ways of life.  These tribal groups take pleasure in representing their culture. The  cultural group leader of Yoruba, is KabiyesiHe is the Chief custodian of the culture. Eze is the cultural group leader of Ibos and for the Hausas it is Allahaji.

These various groups entertain the people during carnivals and some other cultural events such as coronations and so on. The different tribal groups create markets for investors to harness as it gives them a clearer understanding of which product to target at each segment

The Ibos, for instance, distinguish their Eze (king) by placing him on a royal throne and clothe him in a royal garment. This attire poses a product one can sell in Nigeria. The different ornaments he wears is also a product.

I am sure you're already planning your trip to Nigeria.

AGRICULTURE

Nigeria has vast regions of arable land. This makes her very productive in agricultural output.
The nation produces various crops that are medicinal with high economic value such as garcinia (bitter kola) and ginger.

Garcinia

Garcinia is also called bitter kolaIt has a lot of health benefits. It clears a sore throat. It relieves displeasing body pains and immovable joints. It maintains a good respiratory tract system.
It stabilizes body sugar level.  Bitter kola servers as a source of livelihood to many Nigerians who export it.

Anambra, Enugu and Imo states have it in larger quantities.  It is not a bad idea to have a taste of bitter kola. It's actually sweet kola considering  the benefits it offers. Pay Nigeria a visit and you'll be glad you did.

Ginger

Ginger is in high demand in the international market. Nigeria is the fourth largest exporter of ginger.  The highest producing state in Nigeria is Kaduna. Other states that produce an appreciable quantitof ginger are Benue, Bauchi, Nasarawa and Gombe.

Ginger aids in the absorption and food digestion. Food, pharmaceutical and processing industry use it for production.

POPULATION DENSITY

Nigeria is equivalent to 2.57% of the total world's population, with approximately two hundred million people in number. This larger, diverse population creates markets for different products. One can actually import crochet baby booties, knitting machines, electronics and so many more.

It's a big home market with attractive prices for successful new products. The majority of this population is between the ages of 15-64 years, indicating a vibrant, outstanding and highly effective people.

TREASURED LAND

Nigeria is a country that overflows with immeasurable wealth.  Looking for a good place to invest? Here is Nigeria! Plan your strategy and position, then penetrate and harvest the riches that abound.
